User Interface Design & Front-end Development
The Cathedral Museum in Mdina houses the oldest bell in Malta. In 2011 the bell was moved indoors to prevent any further degradation and the curator at the museum suggested an interactive kiosk to hold all the information for this historical bell.
The interactive kiosk needed to serve as a display to showcase the bell’s history, a photo gallery showing some of the bell’s details and a pre-recorded audio track of the bell’s authentic ring which users can listen to when attending the museum. All of this needed to be viewed on a touch screen.
Additionally, the interface featured text-resizing options and the possibility to switch the language for the history section.
